Hi, my name is Scott Alward and I am
the new SRE Teacher and
Chaplain at Kadina High School. My
wife Michelle and I moved to Lennox Head from the Central Coast early
last year
as we really sensed the call of God to this region.
Amazingly, the day after we moved I met the
lady who lived next door and she grabbed my resume and passed it onto
the Head
Teacher of Welfare at Kadina High and about a month later I was working
there
as a Teacher’s Aide. I now really
see
the bigger purposes of God in getting me in the school last year to
open the
way for my role this year.
Prior to coming here, I worked in Wyong
High School for just
under 5 years as the SRE Teacher and Chaplain and I have been working
with
youth for the past 10 years. My passion
is to see young people recognise the heart of God for them, to
encounter His
love and to be forever changed. I love
seeing young people laying hold of the purposes of God and desiring to
see His
kingdom bring about transformation to the world around them.
I am expectant for great things to
continue to happen in
Kadina High School and thank you all for your partnership in this vital
kingdom
work in the schools of this local area. I
especially honour Rob Sipe for his commitment to this
ministry in
Kadina High and thank him for the legacy he has left.
Together may we bring the Lord His
spoils of victory that He
purchased.
